Dover Marina Hotel & Spa, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

I brought my other half over to this hotel for his 32nd and I am so glad I did! The location of the hotel is right by the marina, giving beautiful views. The team are to die for. They are so welcoming with the sweetest smiles, always going out and beyond to make us comfortable. Cha, Arun and Lauren are an amazing clique. We ordered a cocktail each just had to keep ordering because they were so delicious. Real cocktails, not cheap and rushed at all like you get in most places. The atmosphere is very chill. Im glad hes turning 32, I just discovered my new go-to when I get tired This isnt just a review, its a massive thank you to the lovely and generous team

Stayed 23/1/26, £125 for 2 persons for 2 nights (really good value for money). Nice, warm, spacious Room 303, enough wardrobe/drawer space, dressing table & chair & coffee table & chairs. Ironing board, iron and hairdryer (hot & fast) all provided. Selection of teas, coffees, sugars, biscuits & kettle provided & fridge. USB ports above the plug sockets. Beds and pillows so comfy! Lovely refurbished bathroom with toiletries & fluffy towels, hot shower. We couldn’t turn off the audio narrative on the tv, but Maintenance came asap with another remote control to fix it. Hotel is clearly refurbished, presenting and working to a high standard. Many ‘Marina Parking’ bays on offer in public carpark at rear (only pay at Reception £5 per day). Despite training new staff, the Receptionist was friendly & quick, advised our room was ready 1.5hr earlier than check-in. Afternoon Tea in Churchill Restaurant was plentiful & well presented & even provided with boxes to take away leftovers. I had placed my coat on something sticky on the chair (but we did refuse the first prepared table & chose another, so the waiting staff did not have time to double check our seating). Coat is suede/fur, so couldn’t be sponged, the Hotel Manager quickly arranged for it to be dry cleaned FOC. In my haste to give it to Reception, I forgot to pay the restaurant bill! Received a polite message after our spa visit and I returned to settle the bill, lovely staff, so understanding! Breakfast in the White Restaurant: huge array, nice, hot and well-cooked. Staff always around to help with anything and always polite, professional and helpful. Spa facilities were all clean & good. Towels are not offered at entry, but provided when asked. Bathrobes £5 to hire. Lockers require padlock to secure. Showers hot with toiletries Returned to our room late at night to an alarm going off in the room. Reception came very quickly & moved us into another room and provided a complimentary late check-out and extended our parking permit – brilliant resolution! Overall we cannot fault the staff for being so professional and accommodating and quick to help in every event – they are a credit to the management. We had a great stay and will definitely choose the Hilton Dover Marina again. Thank you for everything!

The rooms were of absolutely brilliant, we got a family room with the most beautiful sea view and only payed £110 per night and the room was pristine, the beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was luxurious and the room came with all the best coffee making amenities. The staff were very nice, it was my mother's birthday and we ordered a cake and fruit platter to the room upon arrival and it was meant to be £22 but they said we didn't need to pay anything and we really appreciated it. Furthermore, this hotel is highly pet friendly as we bought our 7 month of kitten and the staff were very welcoming and loved our cat.

We celebrated my partner’s birthday with a two-night stay and booked a Superior Room with a balcony and sea views. I coordinated with the reception team to arrange a birthday fruit platter, and we also had a cupcake delivered from Lola. The team was wonderful. We had forgotten that my partner is a Hilton Gold member, but the staff still looked after us and upgraded us to a beautiful Junior Suite as a birthday gift since there was availability. It was spacious, bright, and the balcony view was breathtaking. The hotel is lovely. We had dinner at White’s Restaurant, which was delicious and a real treat. Breakfast was simple but very good. Churchill Bar had a great atmosphere on Saturday with live music, and the bartender (the tall gentleman) really knew his drinks — he made excellent Negronis and Old Fashioneds. The location is perfect, right by the beach, and the views are amazing. What a stay — thank you to the whole team. It was wonderful. Saby & Jonathan

One of the finest hotels I have had the pleasure of staying in. After watching the YouTube documentary by Prabath (Sri Lanka Rupavahini), I was inspired to visit Dover and the experience exceeded my expectations. The room was exceptionally comfortable, and the culinary offering was truly outstanding; every dish was prepared with great care and flavour. This hotel is the perfect blend of luxury and coastal charm. The entire team demonstrated genuine warmth and professionalism throughout my stay. My sincere appreciation goes to Pradeep, Nevil, and Front Office Manager, and the young lady who assisted us at dinner (my apologies for not recalling your names). As a hotelier, I deeply value high standards of service, and I must commend the staff for their impeccable maintenance of the property and their commitment to excellence. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay memorable.

This is simply a beautiful hotel. It gives a very luxurious vibe and is in a perfect location right by the coast. Waking up in the morning and looking out the window and seeing the beautiful sea and coast was just the right way to wake up on a holiday. The room was very modern and beautifully designed. The room was Very large, clean and the heating and AC was very quite and barely noticeable. The bed was superbly comfortable and very spacious with sofas and chairs located right by the window. The bathroom was very modern and spotless with a beautiful rain shower. Every single staff in that hotel including cleaners, cooks, receptionist, mangers, were super friendly and so welcoming and showed great hospitality. They were very professional, polite, kind and attentive. Special thanks goes to Rimshan who was just outstanding and simply superb, he went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was perfect and comfortable and made sure that we had everything we need for our 2 year old son. breakfasts was delicious with a variety of options for everyone to eat and drink from. The hotel lobbies, bars, toilets were decorated beautifully and elegantly and gave such warm and Christmas holiday feel. Overall this was one of the best hotels we have stayed in and we would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a relaxing and beautiful stay.

Beautiful hotel & amazing stay! This hotel is absolutely stunning, with a luxurious vibe and the perfect coastal location. Waking up to the sea view each morning was truly special. Our room was modern, spacious, spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The staff were exceptional—friendly, professional, and very welcoming. A special thank you to Rimshan for going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, especially with our 2-year-old son. Delicious breakfast, beautiful décor, and a warm festive atmosphere. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!

Lovely hotel and just rounding up a renovation. ( Jan 2026). The hotel and rooms had a good update, with fresh paint and furniture. I would say, this hotel is 98% there. The rooms are nice and have good amenities like a superb coffee machine. Fresh paint and a very comfortable bed. Small details are letting the hotel down. Like for example a very raffled towel. And a couple of small elements, like a missing knob. This is also an older building, which means it can be noisy. A big plus is the full sized gym in the basement. This is a commercial gyms, which means it is way bigger than an average hotel gym. The sauna and steam room are a big plus too. Overall a lovely hotel, which is a real steal on a winters weekend night. ( 50 gbp per night).
